Cookies policy
Last updated: May 2026
This policy explains how Return Well uses cookies and similar technologies on returnwell.co.uk. It sits alongside our privacy policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They're used to make sites work properly, remember preferences, and — in some cases — measure how visitors use the site or deliver advertising.
2. Categories we use
We group cookies into four categories. You can accept or reject the non-essential ones at any time.
Necessary (always on)
Required for the site to function — things like keeping you signed in, remembering your cookie choice itself, and protecting against cross-site request forgery. These don't track you and can't be turned off.
Functional
Remember non-essential preferences (e.g. whether you've minimised the support chat widget). Off by default until you accept.
Analytics
Help us understand which pages and content are useful so we can improve the site. Off by default until you accept. We don't currently load any analytics cookies, but the consent category is reserved for future tools.
Advertising
Used by LinkedIn to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to build audiences for retargeting. Off by default until you accept. Cookies in this category include li_sugr, lidc, and bcookie.
3. Changing your choice
You can update or withdraw your consent at any time by re-opening the preferences panel:
You can also clear cookies via your browser settings, although this will sign you out of any accounts and reset all preferences on every site.
4. Third parties
The third-party services that may set cookies through this site:
- CookieYes — the cookie consent banner itself (necessary).
- LinkedIn Insight Tag — advertising performance and retargeting, only after you accept the Advertising category.
- Stripe — fraud protection on the checkout page (necessary).
- Supabase — keeps you signed in to the employer / clinician portal (necessary).
5. Questions
If you have questions about this policy or how we handle cookies, email support@returnwell.co.uk.
